Who we are: Advanced Radiology Services is one of the largest physician-owned radiology practices in the country. Our practice includes 175 radiologists, 30 advanced practice providers, and more than 175 employees providing administrative support in our wholly owned subsidiary STARS. What we do: We provide services to more than 60 different sites across the state of Michigan. ARS is the exclusive radiology provider to West Michigan’s largest Level I trauma center and research hospital, Corewell Health. American College of Radiology has designated Corewell a Diagnostic Center for Excellence.

What we are looking for: We are seeking Body Imaging and Ultrasound Radiologists. We can offer full or part-time partnership track positions. We have several flexible schedule options, which include working on-site in Grand Rapids, Michigan or Remote. We are offering a $50k sign-on bonus!

Flexible options include:

🕘 Daytime: 7a–4p or 8a–5p EST (13 weeks vacation)
🌆 Evenings: 7-on/7-off or 3–10p shifts
🌙 Overnights: 9p–4a EST (great for PT/Hawaii time zone)
⏱ NEW Part-Time: ~16 hrs/month, fully remote (not eligible for sign-on bonus)

Responsibilities:

Interpret body CT, general and specialized body MRI, CTA, and MRA studies.
Interpret general ultrasound with additional skills in obstetric and vascular ultrasound preferable but not required. We are an IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission) accredited vascular lab.
Opportunities for subspecialty reads in cardiovascular and thoracic imaging also available for qualified candidates.

Requirements:

American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology certified
Completion of a cross sectional body imaging fellowship or an ultrasound fellowship

Compensation/Benefits: We offer a 50K recruitment incentive (sign on bonus), competitive compensation plan, stipends for on-site shifts, and opportunities for additional shifts on a month to month basis. Our physicians pay $0 for single or family medical/dental/vision coverage and enjoy an $18,000 medical reimbursement account annually. We also contribute the maximum amount allowed to the 401K plan ($72,000 in 2026). We have a brand new 6-week paid parental leave benefit!

Why do you want to do telerad for us? Although we are based in Michigan, we have a well-established teleradiology practice. We had remote physicians prior to COVID and currently have physicians working in 18 states. We utilize Intelerad PACS, PowerScribe 360 and InteleOrchestrato; we have outstanding IT infrastructure and 24/7 help desk support. Our remote radiologists are encouraged to participate in virtual section, committee and board meetings and their input is essential to our practice decisions. You will have outstanding colleagues working virtually by your side as we have dedicated body, cardiothoracic, ER, neuro, pediatric, musculoskeletal, and ultrasound readers on first and second shifts and body, ER, neuro, and pediatric readers on third shift.
